About SENO
A smoke-free format for adults who already use nicotine.
SENO is a brand of Biostrips Corporation, a Cincinnati, Ohio company making oral dissolving nicotine strips for adults 21 and over. We started with a simple question: if you already use nicotine, why should it come with fire, smoke and ash?
Our vision
A smoke-free future for adults who choose to use nicotine.
Our mission
Make a simple, exact-dose, smoke-free nicotine strip, and sell it responsibly to adults 21+ only.
Smoke-free by design
Nothing is lit or burned, so there's no smoke, no ash and nothing to inhale. Just a strip that dissolves on your tongue.
A lighter footprint
No batteries, chargers or devices to throw away, and no cigarette butts. We're working to reduce packaging waste across our cartons and pouches.
Responsible by default
Adults 21+ only. We sell through licensed retailers, verify age, put the nicotine warning front and center, and never market to young people.
Honest about nicotine
Nicotine is addictive. We don't claim SENO is safer than smoking or helps anyone quit. Thinking about quitting? Free support: 1-800-QUIT-NOW.
Not for non-users of nicotine, anyone under 21, or people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How is this different from smoking a cigarette?+
A cigarette burns tobacco. SENO strips are placed in the mouth, where nicotine is absorbed through the lining of the mouth. Nothing is burned, so there's no smoke.
How does this compare to e-cigarettes or vaping?+
Vapes heat a liquid into an aerosol that is inhaled. A SENO strip is used in the mouth. It isn't heated or inhaled and produces no aerosol.
How does the nicotine dose compare to a cigarette?+
Each strip contains 2 mg of nicotine. Nicotine content isn't the same as what the body absorbs, and absorption varies by person and product.
Is this safer than smoking?+
We can't claim SENO strips are safer than cigarettes or lower the risk of smoking-related disease. Nicotine is addictive and carries its own risks. If your goal is to quit, talk with a healthcare professional about proven options.
Is nicotine addictive in this form?+
Yes. Nicotine is addictive whether it comes from a cigarette, vape, pouch or strip.
Who shouldn't use this product?+
- Anyone under 21
- Anyone who doesn't already use nicotine
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- People with heart conditions (nicotine raises heart rate and blood pressure)
- Older adults and anyone with health conditions should check with their doctor first
How do I use a strip?+
Open the pouch, place it on your tongue, and let it dissolve.
Can I cut a strip to lower the dose?+
Use the labeled dose. We haven't validated how much nicotine a cut piece delivers.
How should I store the strips?+
Keep them in the original packaging, out of reach and sight of children and pets. If a child may have swallowed a strip, call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222. Call 911 for trouble breathing, collapse or a seizure.
